Mortal Kombat II
Speaking to Comicbook, Karl Urban teased that he does indeed do the splits in the movie, presumably to recreate Johnny Cage’s iconic nut punch move.
Cavendish
Variety has word Sophie Thatcher, Erin Kellyman, and Joe Alwyn will star in Cavendish, “irreverent and original thriller set against the witch hunts of 17th-century Britain.” Directed by Christopher Andrews, the story is set in 1645, and sees “a privileged young bride (Thatcher) accused of witchcraft on her wedding day and pursued by a ruthless witch hunter (Alwyn). Forced into an uneasy alliance with a sharp-witted poacher living on the margins of society (Kellyman), the two women, as per the synopsis, fight back, “turning their powerlessness into strength through violence, wit and defiance.”
Ted 3
Speaking with Deadline, Seth McFarlane suggested there could be a third Ted movie in lieu of a third season of the TV series.
It really is up to to Peacock with their, you know, vast amounts of big Scrooge McDuck money that they dive into every day. I think all of us, in some form or another, whether it’s a Season 3 of Ted or a direct-to-Peacock feature with this cast, is something I think we’d all be up for. It’s all on the table.
Enola Holmes 3
Deadline additionally reports the third Enola Holmes movie will debut on Netflix this July 1st.
Booster Gold/Paradise Lost
Later in the same Threads post where he confirmed that The Authority is on hold, James Gunn confirmed Booster Gold is still in development, while the Themyscira-set Paradise Lost is in “extreme development.”
