Alongside the global release of the Watch S5, Xiaomi has also launched the international version of its Smart Band 10 Pro with availability starting now in some regions. Much like the Watch S5, the new Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro promises improved health and sleep tracking, an enhanced cycling mode, built-in GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System), and up to 21 days of battery life. The best part: it’s just under $100.

As with all Xiaomi products, the global launch of the Smart Band 10 Pro excludes the U.S. In Europe, the fitness tracker starts at €79.90 for the aluminum version, which is about $93. Xiaomi’s also selling an NFC and ceramic version for €99.90 (about $116).

Of course, that 21-hour battery claim depends entirely on usage. Light use lasts 21 days, while moderate use drains the battery in about 15 days. Xiaomi defines light usage of the Smart Band 10 Pro as using all-day heart rate monitoring and message notifications, but with high-precision sleep monitoring and all-day blood oxygen monitoring turned off, and receiving 100 messages, 10 incoming call alerts, three alarms per day, and up to 6 minutes of screen operation per day. Activating the always-on display reduces battery life to eight days, which is still not bad for a 350mAh battery.

As for the Smart Band 10 Pro’s other features, it’s got a 1.74-inch AMOLED display alongside an array of health and tracking features with up to 150 sport modes and an improved cycling mode. The existence of a screen edges this device towards budget smartwatch territory, despite its fitness tracker pricing.

Other smart bands like the Fitbit Charge 6, as well as screenless models like the Fitbit Air and Whoop 5, are either missing features, more expensive, or have limited battery life compared to what the Smart Band 10 Pro claims to offer. While the Fitbit Charge 6 recently dipped significantly in price, it’s still $127 (at the time of writing), and the Fitbit Air is $99. The Whoop 5, bundled with a mandatory year of software support, starts at $199, making it hard to price it against the Smart Band 10 Pro. While the Whoop 5 offers more in-depth health tracking than the Smart Band 10 Pro, it lacks GNSS and built-in sport modes. And the Whoop 5 is also screenless, which means it can’t double as a smartwatch.

Ignoring its obvious Apple Watch inspiration, Xiaomi’s Smart Band 10 Pro seems featured-packed and relatively affordable.
