In response to a fan on Threads (via Screen Rant) asking when we’d see General Zod, Doomsday, Dr. Fate, Black Adam, Ultraman, or Darkseid in his DCU, James Gunn answered we’d be seeing “two of them in not too long.”

Angel Heart: The Series
Deadline reports Zac Efron is attached to star in a TV series from A24 and HBO based on William Hjortsberg’s 1978 mystery novel Fallen Angel. Said to be based on both Fallen Angel and the sequel Angel’s Inferno, the series will follow “a down-and-out NYC paparazzi, who makes his living finding and photographing people who don’t want to be found. He is hired by a mysterious man to find a missing woman. But the deeper he digs to find her, the more it looks like a group of powerful elites, and maybe something supernatural, are covering up the disappearance.”
Sunken Meadow
Deadline also reports North Road Television Studios has acquired a spec script for Sunken Meadow, a pilot for a potential series described as “Six Feet Under meets Weapons.” The script, written by Mac Smullen (Children of the Moon), allegedly sold for somewhere “in the seven-figure range.”
The Vampire Lestat
The Vampire Lestat has released a new tie-in track titled for a power ballad titled “Your Biggest Fan”.
Rick and Morty
Finally, Rick moonlights as a rural man named Ted in a clip from this week’s new episode of Rick and Morty.
