Here’s something you might not have known during such a packed, news-heavy weekend: Supergirl is getting a digital release in a few days.

On Tuesday, July 28, the film hits VOD platforms like AppleTV, Fandango, and Prime Video, with a physical release in September. It’s a short theatrical life for the film, but not entirely unexpected: pre-release, it got mixed reviews, which was reflected in the box office. At time of writing, Supergirl’s made $124 million worldwide. Those who saw it were almost as divided on it as critics were, not helped by post-release reports alleging a troubled production.

With it soon watchable at home, maybe viewers will vibe with Supergirl more. Streaming can help movies that fail theatrically thanks to ease of access, and if nothing else, it’ll keep Milly Alcock’s Kara in conversation as fans draw comparisons between her and David Corenswet’s Superman ahead of their being together in Man of Tomorrow next year. For those looking to grab the film for its bonus features, you’ll be treated to deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes featurettes, including one on creating the film’s aliens using practical effects, the making of Jason Momoa’s Lobo, and an animated short about Krypto.

And if you’re waiting to watch Supergirl on HBO Max, there’s no date for that yet. Until then, there’s this Tuesday, July 28 for VOD and Tuesday, September 8 for Blu-Ray, 4K UHD, and DVD.
