Deadline reports Mediawan Kids & Family, Submarine and Canada’s Sinking Ship Entertainment are teaming on an animated feature film adaptation of Judd Winick’s graphic novel series, Hilo. The story concerns “a mysterious young boy who crashes on earth and begins a journey to discover who he truly is.”

The Haunting of Alejandra
Deadline has word Hulu is developing a TV series based on The Haunting of Alejandra, a 2023 horror novel by V. Castro with Steven Paul Martinez attached as writer and executive producer. Described as a “series blending psychological horror and social commentary that explores supernatural Mexican mythology,” the series concerns the titular Alejandra as she “finds herself struggling psychologically on maternity leave, but quickly finds it’s not run-of-the-mill postpartum; instead, she’s in a fight-to-the-death struggle with the legend of the famous La Llorona.”
Robin Hood
Deadline reports Robin Hood has been officially renewed for a second season at MGM+.
Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Rifftrax Experiments
Finally, an update from Kevin Murphy confirms the new episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000 will restore the puppets built for the tenth and final season of the series’ original run.
