It’s never a bad time to be a Blade Runner fan, but there’s lots of excitement in the air over Blade Runner 2099, Prime Video’s upcoming series starring Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer. So the timing on a new auction of props, costumes, and ephemera from Denis Villeneuve’s 2017 Blade Runner 2049 is probably not a coincidence. A percentage of the proceeds benefit humanitarian nonprofit CORE, and there’s a range of offerings depending on how deep your wallet is.
The most coveted items, according to Propstore, include:
- Dr. Ana Stelline’s (Carla Juri) animatronic memory orb: bidding opens at $35,000
- Joi’s (Ana de Armas) turtleneck, clear yellow jacket, and boots: estimated at $5,000
- K’s (Ryan Gosling) complete costume, including his coat matched to the Sapper Morton fight; bidding opens at $20,000
- Luv’s (Sylvia Hoeks) hero blaster: estimated at $8,000
- Rick Deckard’s (Harrison Ford) stunt blaster: estimated at $15,000
If you check out the catalog, you’ll also see a container of Sapper Morton-grown worms (made of foam and “hand-painted and textured to appear biological,” as well as diligently aged and distressed); the futuristic entry key and modular sofa from K’s apartment, as well as eerie ephemera the character had scattered around (including several small clown dolls); neon signs and noodle bowls (iconically Blade Runner); and a production-made but not screen-matched wooden horse, an important item in K’s misdirected journey of self-discovery. Also: lots of Deckard’s empty Johnnie Walker bottles.
Just about the only item not up for sale from Blade Runner 2049 is Rachael’s replicant skeleton, which went on the block (along with another one of K’s wooden horses) in early 2025.
