Smart glasses are taking a lot of heat right now, and almost all of it is because of one thing: cameras. The idea that someone (a “glasshole,” by most people’s standards) can walk around and record others discreetly in high resolution is not an appealing one to most. Turns out, as eroded as our collective sense of privacy has become, we still don’t like when our faces wind up as fodder on some jerk’s TikTok prank.
