Last week saw 20th Century Studios dispel concerns that Alien: Romulus wasn’t getting a sequel. This weekend is Warner Bros.’ turn, as the studio wants everyone to know it isn’t forgetting to do another Wonka movie.
Recently, co-writer Simon Farnaby was interviewed by Variety, where he mentioned the sequel was impeded by Timothée Chalamet’s schedule. “He’s not sure about timing or what he wants to do next,” said Farnaby of the lead, which was then followed by Variety translating that to an indefinite delay.
