Avengers: Doomsday

Speaking with Screen Rant, Halle Berry discussed her disappointment Storm isn’t returning for Avengers: Doomsday.

Yeah, I love that. Storm is a very special character to me. I’ve been so blessed when I gotten to play her. I think the whole world of the X-Men and being mutants and outcasts. And there’ve been movies that I’ve been proud to have my children watch. They have so much to say that I thought has been really important, especially for my children as they’ve grown. So they’re beloved. And while I’m sad I won’t be in Doomsday this round, there are other rounds. And I would do that in a heartbeat.


Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Appearing on a recent episode of The Playlist’s Bingeworthy podcast (via Deadline), Vincent D’Onofrio explained why Wilson Fisk doesn’t appear as the Mayor of New York in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. 

No. I think I’ll just wait until they have the rights to my character and they put me in one of those movies, and then I’ll figure it all out.


Hyde

Variety reports Bill Camp and Bruce Greenwood will star in Hyde, a new interpretation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Written and directed by Graham and Parker Phillips, the story concerns “a detective who descends into the rotting heart of a decaying metropolis to hunt a serial killer. Greenwood plays the therapist that Grimes is mandated to see, which helps him realize the person he’s chasing may be closer than he imagined.”


Blasphemous

Deadline reports Karen Gillan, Josh Hutcherson, and Clive Owen will star in Blasphemous, a film directed by Luke Piotrowski in which “two clerics—a rookie priest (Hutcherson) and his devout mentor (Owen) must transport a possessed young woman (Gillan) to a secure location for an exorcism. All hell breaks loose when she unexpectedly escapes, putting their lives on the line and their faith to the ultimate test.”


Practical Magic 2

Bloody-Disgusting reports Practical Magic 2 will now release a week early on September 11, 2026.

The outlet also reports M. Night Shyamalan’s collaboration with Nicholas Sparks has been delayed to a February 5, 2027 release. 


Scream 7

Bloody-Disgusting additionally has word the Scream 7 soundtrack will include four original songs streaming ahead of the film’s release:

February 13: “Rearranging Scars” by Sueco
February 19: “Twisting the Knife” by Ice Nine Kills featuring Scream 7 actress Mckenna Grace
February 27 – “Criminal” by Jessie Murph
February 27 – “The Kill” by Stella Lefty


Masters of the Universe
