The Anaconda reboot gets an unsurprising rating. The Strangers is returning with a first look at chapter 3. Plus, the Duffer brothers tease the origins of the Upside Down in Stranger Things‘ final season. Spoilers, away!

Shrek 5

Deadline reports Marcello Hernández and Skyler Gisondo have joined the voice cast of Shrek 5 as Fergus and Farkle, Shrek and Fiona’s sons.

Untitled Bong Joon Ho Project

According to Variety, Bong Joon Ho’s animated movie about deep-sea fish is now scheduled to release sometime in 2027.

The Anaconda remake has been rated PG-13 for “violence/action, strong language, some drug use and suggestive references.” [Bloody-Disgusting]

No More Time

After escaping to the woods to ride out a plague, a couple realize they may have made a mistake when “strange figures emerge” and the trees begin blinking at them in the trailer for No More Time.

The Strangers: Chapter 3

The poorly received Strangers trilogy draws to a close with a new teaser for Chapter 3.

Stranger Things

Speaking with Deadline, Matt Duffer confirmed the next batch of Stranger Things season 5 will be exploring the origins of the Upside Down.

Especially as we get into Volume 2, we start to answer more and more why Will was kidnapped and how it ties in with Holly and all of this. Everything sort of comes full circle. That really is a Volume 2 thing, where we really get into the Upside Down, and we explain what it is. Again, this is something that has been planned for 10 years now, and it just now, obviously is the time to reveal it.

Star Trek: United

Finally, during a recent interview with Trek Movie, Todd Stashwick stated he’s down to appear in Star Trek: United, the pitch for a post-Enterprise Starfleet political thriller starring Scott Bakula’s Captain Archer.

You know what, I’m not going to pick because I don’t know what the world has in store for me. And why not both? I’ve already done both in the universe; I can do both again. So to the gods of Skydance and Paramount, let’s maybe make United. If they’re not going to make Legacy right now, let’s make United.
