Fast and Furious : Hollywood Drift has been in the works for years at Universal Studios Hollywood, but the roller coaster only started live testing in recent weeks. io9’s Germain Lussier got a chance to check it out during its rehearsal period, and he deemed it well worth the wait. He also noted that the coaster’s mechanics were remarkably quiet, even if the shrieks of delighted riders were still loud enough to rankle people living within earshot of the theme park.
