MCU’s Thunderbolts* is the second film in the Marvel universe for 2025.
Marvel’s answer to The Suicide Squad sees a group of anti-heroes brought together for a mission, including Yelena Belova/Black Widow, Bucky Barnes and Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, all under the leadership of Valentina Allegra de Fontaine.
The trailers shows that the odds are against them – after all, none of them can fly, just “point and shoot,” as Yelena puts it. Nonetheless, they’ll still have to pull together if they wish to stand a chance at beating the villain… and it’s someone that fans of the comics have waited a long time to see.

In the United Kingdom, the latest MCU film will appear in cinemas on Thursday, 1 May 2025. In the States, Thunderbolts* will premiere a day later, on Friday, 2 May 2025.
