Apple has come a significant distance in reducing the MacBook Air’s price, and Amazon is pushing the value even harder on Prime Day.

As things stand now, Prime members can acquire the 2025 MacBook Air with the performance-oriented M4 chip for just $849 in the 256GB version (down from $999). To put this into perspective, the starting price for a MacBook Pro is at least $1,599, which makes this Air model less than half the cost. Despite the lower price, you’re still getting a machine that’s incredibly powerful, lightweight and a pleasure to carry around.

2025 13-inch MacBook Air is built to be quick and responsive thanks to the Apple M4 chip: The processor has a gargantuan boost in performance to enable you to fly through demanding tasks. The M4 chip is also designed for Apple Intelligence which is Apple’s own intelligence platform that helps you get more done more efficiently, while keeping your privacy protected with strong security features. With 16GB unified memory and a 256GB SSD, you have fast multitasking and space for all your files.

What’s more, it tips the scales on three pounds and is extremely thin so it will slip on into a bag or backpack and accompany you wherever you go. Light as air, but still loaded with battery power, the MacBook Air won’t have you scrambling for an outlet all day. It runs up to 18 hours on one charge so it will get you through work.

The 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display is another highlight with a billion colors for breathtaking and lifelike images. Photos and video are breathtaking, with crystal-clear detail and deep contrast and text is crystal clear and easy to read. The screen makes creative work and movie streaming more enjoyable than ever.

Apple has also focused on camera and audio experience on this latest laptop: The 12MP Center Stage camera ensures you stay in frame during video calls, framing you beautifully as you move around. Three studio-quality microphones ensure that you are heard clearly while four speakers with Spatial Audio offer immersive sound.

The connectivity is robust and it has two Thunderbolt 4 ports for fast data transfer and charging, a MagSafe charging port, a headphone jack, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. The MacBook Air can support up to two external displays and it is easy to add space for productivity or entertainment.

At $849, this deal is exclusive to Prime members and offers exceptional value compared to the much pricier MacBook Pro. Make sure you don’t miss it.
