It’s been almost two years since Interview With the Vampire last graced our screens, and after what definitely feels like two years of teasing, it’s ready to return under its new name.

This morning, AMC confirmed that The Vampire Lestat will make its debut on the network July 7. To celebrate, it released the show’s new glam rock opening titles, featuring a new song performed by Sam Reid called “All Fall Down.”

Set in the aftermath of Daniel Molloy’s exposé on the existence of vampires, The Vampire Lestat, an adaptation of the 1985 book of the same name in Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles series, will follow the titular Lestat de Lioncourt as he reimagines himself as a rock star prodigy, touring the nation and running away from his past—only to find his hold over vampire and humankind alike grow in contention with a sudden surge in the vampire population, leaving others to contend with the ramifications of his meteoric rise.

We’ve had plenty of teases of Reid going all-in on Lestat’s rockstar arc, from terse interviews to plenty of musical interludes—but after nearly two years of waiting for Interview to reinvent itself, it’s good to know the wait is nearly over.
