The ‘Mandalorian and Grogu’ Hot Toys Figures Want You to Know Pedro Pascal Is Under That Helmet

One of the most back-and-forth plotlines on The Mandalorian was about Din beginning to struggle with the rules of the Covert that raised him and the ramifications of him defying its codes to bare his face to his ward, Grogu. It seems like that’s going to come up again after he spent much of The Mandalorian season three going on a path of redemption in The Mandalorian and Grogu. And while it’s unknown as of yet just what it’ll mean in the movie, in the meantime it means one thing in particular: Hot Toys’ penchant for pretty, eerily accurate replicas of real-life people yearns to forge Pedro Pascal in plastic.

This week Hot Toys lifted the lid on its line of high-end figures inspired by the upcoming Mandalorian and Grogu movie, and unsurprisingly, you’ve got your Mandalorian, and you’ve got your Grogu, and you’ve even got your combination Mandalorian and Grogu (plus a surprise extra we’ll get to later). All your bases are covered, vis-à-vis the Mandalorian and Grogu and combinations thereof!

Let’s start with Din himself, who looks very shiny, clad in his beskar armor. Available in both a standard and deluxe edition (which comes with two special Grogus, one sitting in his purloined pram from the film, the other a twist on the standard with his beskar roundel armor on display), the set includes a bevy of weapons—a knife, a sword, his amban phase-pulse rifle, a pistol, a new blaster rifle, and even a flame effect for his wrist gauntlet—a lot of the appeal here that Hot Toys keenly wants you to be aware of is that they’ve sculpted the likeness of internet father figure Pedro Pascal for the head, so he can be posed not wearing his helmet. Damn those cultural and theological debates! The 1:6 scale world yearns for Pedro Plast-cal!

Moving away from Hot Toys’ usual 1:6 fare are two “life-sized” figures of the diminutive stars of the film: Grogu, who clocks in around 14.5 inches tall, and an Anzellan droidsmith, coming in a bit shorter at around 10.5 inches tall. Each comes with a bunch of accessories, and they’re dying to be paired together. Grogu comes with his roundel armor piece, which can attach to a satchel and bandolier, a removable wrist-mounted blaster, two different grav charges (who gave a baby incendiary devices!?), and even his iconic viral macaron.

Meanwhile, the Anzellan has a little less, coming with a magnetically attachable welding tool and a functioning light-up torch. But that doesn’t stop him from looking very cute!

It’s almost enough to make you forget that a) these won’t exactly be available by the time The Mandalorian and Grogu hits theaters (Grogu and the Anzellan are due sometime in the middle of 2026, while Din will release in the back half of the year), and b) they’re all very expensive.

All are available to pre-order from Sideshow Collectibles now. Din will set you back $330 (and $375 for the deluxe version), Grogu will cost $285, and the Anzellan $240. You best find yourself a camtono full of credits if you want to add these bounties to your collection.
