Wonder Woman

According to a new rumor from Caleb Williams, editor-in-chief of Knight Edge Media (via World of Reel), the DCU’s planned Wonder Woman movie from Supergirl writer Ana Nogueira “has been put on the ‘backburner.’ Not ‘cancelled,’ but just paused.’”


Cliffhanger

Deadline reports Vertical Entertainment has acquired the rights to Jaume Collet-Serra’s Cliffhanger reboot starring Pierce Brosnan and Lily James for a planned spring 2027 release date.


The Mandela Catalogue

Deadline also has word the film adaptation of The Mandela Catalogue from United Artists, Amazon MGM Studios, and Amblin Entertainment is now scheduled for a June 9, 2028 theatrical release date.


Scream 8

Courteney Cox volunteered to personally direct the eighth entry of the Scream franchise herself in a recent interview with Deadline.

I think I should, honestly. Nobody knows more about that movie than I do. I mean, and the creator, and Wes Craven, and the writers, and everybody who’s been in it. But I think it’d be great and fun and a good publicity thing. Get on it.


The Batman, Part II

New photos and video from the set of The Batman, Part II see a group of protestors haranguing Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne while carrying signs that read “Court of Fowls,” “Re$i$t,” “I’m coming for you next,” “Your Greed is Killing Us,” “Oligarchs gotta go,” “The richer get richer,” “Eat the rich,” “One day the poor will have nothing,” and “Gotham is for justice.”
