It’s one thing to turn on your TV and know the entire series of Stranger Things is available to watch from start to finish. It’s another thing, however, to hold it in your hand, and Netflix is giving fans that chance this summer.
The streamer is teaming up with Arrow Video to release the 25-disc Stranger Things: The Complete Series on Blu-ray and 4K starting July 27. It comes in two different versions, both of which, of course, have every episode from the five seasons as well as a crap ton of special features. The deluxe edition, however, also has new art, a 148-page booklet, cards, a patch, posters, and more.
Here’s what the deluxe edition looks like.
And here’s the special edition:

Clearly, Arrow wants you to go for that deluxe over the special because it’s just so damn beautiful.
Finally, here’s the rundown of features, with asterisks for the stuff you can only find in the deluxe edition.
- High-Definition (1080p) Blu-ray / 4K (2160p) Ultra HD Blu-ray presentation of all forty-two episodes across five series and twenty-five discs
- Original DTS-HD MA 5.1 surround and stereo audio for all episodes plus Dolby Atmos for Seasons 4 & 5
- Optional English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing
- Optional audio description tracks
- Deluxe packaging including brand new wraparound box artwork by Juan Ramos*
- Interviews with the cast and crew
- Behind-the-scenes featurettes
- Set tours
- Bloopers
- Palace Arcade alloy-zinc coin-token*
- Self-adhesive Hellfire Club patch*

- Twenty-five art cards from all five seasons*
- Five double-sided posters featuring original artwork by Kyle Lambert*
- Reversible sleeves featuring brand new artwork by Juan Ramos and original artwork by Kyle Lambert*

- 148-page perfect-bound artbook including original design sketches, concept art, storyboards and new writing on the making of the series from the Duffer Brothers, Shawn Levy, Andrew Stanton, Kyle Dixon, and more*
Some early Stranger Things seasons had physical releases before, but coming so soon after the final season, this is the first time it’s all been released as one big, definitive box set. And it’s the ultimate dream of the show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers.
“We always dreamed that Stranger Things could be owned in its entirety,” the Duffers said in a press release. “Not just as a collector’s set, but as a way to preserve the show for decades to come.”
That quote sure makes it sound like Netflix could potentially remove the episodes, Disney+ style. However, we do not think that will happen. It’s more like, if your internet goes down and you feel like taking the full ride from Hawkins to the Upside Down and back, now you can.
The deluxe edition of the set, with all the little trinkets, retails for $270 on 4K and $250 on Blu-ray. The special edition, which is less special than the deluxe edition, retails for $220 on 4K and $200 on Blu-ray. You can pre-order both of them at this link.
