We’ve only had a tiny glimpse of what to expect out of the third season of Star Wars: Visions, the animated anthology series that opens up the galaxy to a whole host of international animation studios. But now we have our first proper good look at some new and returning heroes—and when exactly we’ll get to meet them.
Lucasfilm has confirmed that Star Wars: Visions volume 3 will begin streaming on Disney+ on October 29 with a new poster, depicting a whole host of characters from the upcoming series.

As reported earlier this year at Star Wars Celebration Japan, the new series will feature nine episodes from a whole host of Japanese animation studios, after the second volume released back in 2023 expanded the series’ scope to incorporate animation studios from around the world. Volume 3 will see Kamikaze Douga (working with Anima), Trigger, Production I.G., and Kinema Citrus all return having worked on Volume 1, with Kamikaze Douga, Production I.G., and Kinema Citrus working specifically on sequel episodes to their Volume 1 shorts: “The Duel: Payback”, “The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope”, and “The Village Bride: The Lost Ones”, respectively.
