Heather Graham’s remake of The Entity gets a poster. Los Angeles natives are invited to watch Fall 2: Deadpoint while standing on a plank. The Creep Tapes returns for new episodes this September on Shudder. We’re gonna go a lot deeper places than this. It’s Morning Spoilers!

The Batman, Part II

While fielding an unrelated question about Avengers: Doomsday to the French news outlet, Le Journal di Dimanche (via Screen Rant), Sebastian Stan stated he’s playing Harvey Dent in The Batman, Part II.

Honestly, I have absolutely no idea. Because we didn’t have a script. We were just shooting scattered scenes. It’s a different way of working, continuous, constantly evolving. The producers didn’t want us to read it in its entirety, to avoid journalists asking us questions. (Laughs.) I’ve been following this rule for fifteen years, I’m used to it. I also can’t say anything about The Batman: Part II, by Matt Reeves, where I play Harvey Dent. The beauty of this profession also lies in participating in projects of this scale, which I love as a viewer. Right now, I’m really looking forward to seeing The Odyssey, by Christopher Nolan; it looks amazing.

Seasons

Deadline reports Jack Reynor (Lee Cronin’s The Mummy) will star alongside Lily James in Seasons, an upcoming horror film from director Drew Hancock based on the viral short story, My Wife and I Bought a Ranch. The story concerns “a husband and wife who buy their dream ranch, only to discover the land is alive with ancient spirits. For the couple, survival will mean submitting to increasingly disturbing rituals with each turn of the season.”

Gundam

During his recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast (via Comic Book), Noah Centineo described Netflix’s live-action Gundam movie as “Romeo and Juliet in Space.”

It’s a big action romance space movie. It lives in the Universal Century canon of Gundam, for those who know. I don’t know how much I can tell you about what characters are in it, but I will say you can compare it to a non-Shakespearean Romeo And Juliet in Space.

R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead 2

According to Bloody-Disgusting, the sequel to last year’s R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead will also be  available to stream on Tubi sometime “this Halloween season.”

Fall 2: Deadpoint

Bloody-Disgusting additionally reports two “immersive screenings” of Fall 2: Deadpoint will be held at a currently undisclosed location in Los Angeles this Saturday, August 22, challenging attendees to “stand on elevated platforms for the entire screening, testing their balance and endurance as the tension builds on screen.”

What Happened to Doris?

Fantastic Fest has a poster for What Happened to Doris?, a new film based on the Doris Bither case (previously filmed as The Entity in 1982) starring Heather Graham and Mimi Rogers.

Buddy

Neighborhood children are going missing in yet another teaser for Casper Kelly’s Buddy.

The Room Below

Speaking of missing children, a grieving mother (Evil Dead Rise‘s Alyssa Sutherland) said to be “living with a mysterious creature in her home” kidnaps a young boy to replace him in the trailer for The Room Below, co-starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

The Creep Tapes

Finally, Peachfuzz returns with new episodes of The Creep Tapes this September 15 on Shudder.
