Samsung has announced a new pair of mid-range tablets in the form of the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE+.
But while the regular model only has minor updates compared to last year’s Tab S9 FE, the Plus introduces a big display upgrade.
Here’s the full lowdown on the Galaxy Tab S10 FE range.
A display to rival the iPad Air
While the Galaxy Tab S10 FE sticks with a familiar 10.9-inch LCD, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ goes to the next level with its 13.1-inch LCD. That’s 12% bigger than the Tab S9 FE+’s 12.4-inch panel, and right in line with the latest 13-inch iPad Air.
Both displays can hit refresh rates of 90Hz, and top out at 800 nits of brightness in HBM (high brightness mode).
Needless to say, the Plus model is the heavier of the two, weighing 664g to the standard model’s 497g. However, both are just 6mm thick.
That size difference also leads to varying battery sizes. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE runs on an 8000mAh battery, while the Tab S10 FE+ packs in a 1090mAh cell. Both support up to 45W wired charging, just like their predecessors.

Plenty in common
Aside from those obvious size differences, the specs are identical between these two keenly priced tablets. That includes an impressive IP68 rating, which makes these more water-resistant than most mid-range tablets.
Both run on Samsung’s own Exynos 1580 chip, last seen running the Samsung Galaxy A56 smartphone, which we found to be plenty fast enough for everyday use and productivity.

They have the same memory options, too. The entry models give you 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the step-up models get you 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
One of the unique selling points for any Samsung tablet tends to be its stylus support, and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE duo don’t let the side down. There’s an S Pen included in the box with both.
AI, because it’s 2025
Samsung also claims that these are the first FE tablet models to support AI features straight out of the box.
Google’s Circle to Search is here, as are S Pen-friendly Samsung Notes features such as ‘Handwriting Help’ and ‘Solve Math’.
The optional Book Cover Keyboard even comes with a dedicated Galaxy AI Key, which can serve as a shortcut to your chosen AI assistant. Which, let’s face it, is going to be Google Gemini.
Appealing price tag
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE series is available now from the Samsung website.
In the UK, prices start at £499 for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE, with Tab S10 FE+ costing at least £649. Both are available in 5G and Wi-Fi-only variants, as well as three colour options: Grey, Silver and Blue.
We’ll be offering our verdict on Samsung’s new affordable tablet range over the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled.
