Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is launching a new podcast, according to a teaser video the Health Secretary posted to X on Wednesday. In many ways, it feels like Kennedy’s final form: the anti-vaxx podcaster.
“For decades now, Americans have been told that we should trust the system, but our children are sicker, chronic disease is exploding, and the answers that we’ve been given aren’t working,” Kennedy says in the teaser video. “Many of us have come to the conclusion that government actually lies to us.”
The video strikes an incredibly dark and conspiratorial tone, more in line with outsiders who complain about the system than someone now deeply entrenched with it. The whole thing comes off as very weird, given the fact that Kennedy isn’t resigning his position as head of the Department of Health and Human Services. He’s just adding “podcaster” to his list of duties.
Kennedy goes on to say that his new podcast, which launches next week, will be “about telling the truth, especially when it’s uncomfortable.”
“I’m going to have fearless conversations with critical thinkers, including independent doctors, respected scientists, and leaders in medical innovation and research,” Kennedy says in the video. “I’m going to ask the questions and lift the taboos and expose the hypocrisy and the conflicts and the corruption.”
Kennedy insists that he’ll “follow the evidence,” something that he’s shown no real willingness to do as an anti-vaccine activist. He also said he’ll “names of the forces that obstruct the paths to public health,” though it’s unclear what that means specifically.

Kennedy also mentions the words “spiritual” and “spiritually” in the short video, something that he’s talked about repeatedly as he tries to inject religious dogmas into U.S. public health.
Kennedy has no professional medical qualifications and has been purging scientific expertise from agencies like the FDA and CDC. As the ultimate nepo baby, Kennedy has coasted through life on his name recognition, something that likely appealed to President Donald Trump.
But Kennedy also suffered some setbacks to his agenda since joining the Trump administration, including resistance from some Republican senators hesitant to confirm his MAHA-friendly pick for Surgeon General, Casey Means. The nominee has previously explained that she talks to trees and believes in Moon magic, among other ideas that would be immediately disqualifying during a normal administration.
The question remains whether Kennedy can climb the podcast charts in a very crowded field of right-wingers. Some of the top podcasts in the world right now include names like Joe Rogan, Shawn Ryan, Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, and Theo Von. Dan Bongino, the former deputy director of the FBI, left his position after less than a year to resume podcasting, and has a show that has a sizeable audience of MAGA loyalists.
Kennedy’s teaser video for what appears to be officially known as the Secretary Kennedy Podcast doesn’t give away who his first guests might be. But given the amount of extremist anti-science bullshit we’ve seen from this administration, it’s safe to say his guests won’t be highly respected in their field.
