Paddington has just arrived in US cinemas for the third time, but this charming flick has been out in UK theatres for a while.
The latest film takes the marmalade-eating bear back to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, now a resident of the Home for Retired Bears. When his aunt disappears under suspicious circumstances, Paddington must travel to the heart of the Amazon rainforest to explain the mystery. He can, of course, count on the help of his best friends: Mr. and Mrs. Brown, their kids Judy and Jonathan, and their housekeeper, Mrs. Bird.
Paddington in Peru features Hugh Bonneville, Olivia Colman, Emily Mortimer, Antonio Banderas and Julie Walters, among others. Ben Whishaw once again voices the beloved bear.

How to watch Paddington in Peru now
In the UK, the latest Paddington film opened on Friday, 8 November 2024, and it’s still showing in some theatres during children’s screenings. You can buy tickets for the film from Vue, Odeon and Cineworld. However, it’s also now available to watch at home – scroll down to find out more.
In the US, Paddington in Peru is out now in cinemas. After several days, it finally arrived on 14 February 2025. You can reserve your seats on the AMC Theatres and Fandango websites.

When will Paddington in Peru be released on VOD?
Paddington in Peru is now available on VOD in the UK – it arrived on Valentine’s Day, Friday 14 February 2025.
You can buy or rent the film on Amazon, Sky Store, Apple TV and Google Play.
As the film just released in the US, it likely won’t arrive on digital platforms anytime soon. It took around three months to arrive on digital after opening in cinemas in the UK. So, if it follows the same pattern in America, it should arrive around mid-May 2025.
That said, this film was delayed quite a lot in the US, so it may arrive quicker than that. When we learn more, we’ll update this article.
How to watch Paddington in Peru on streaming
According to What’s On Netflix, Paddington in Peru will be released on this streaming platform in the UK and US this year. However, the dates may differ due to the theatrical releases.
In the UK, the first and the second Paddington movies appeared on streaming nearly four months after their cinematic releases. Therefore, it’s likely that Paddington in Peru will become available for streaming after a similar period – around March 2025. That’s a similar prediction to the one made by What’s on Netflix above.
What’s on Netflix states that because the film is distributed by Sony in America, it should arrive on Netflix after around 120 days, which means that Paddington in Peru wouldn’t be available to stream until around June 2025 in the US.
When will Paddington in Peru be released on DVD/Blu-ray?
Paddington in Peru already has a confirmed DVD/Blu-ray release date for the UK – 17 February 2025. You can pre-order it from Amazon.
No physical release dates have been confirmed for the US yet. However, if our above VOD prediction is correct, we’d expect the film to drop somewhere around May 2025.
