Outlander has made a name for itself as a series of fiery romance and bloody battles. The characters have travelled not only across countries but also across time, taking part in political intrigue, wars and uprisings.
Now, the eighth instalment of the saga about 20th-century nurse Claire and 18th-century Scottish Highlander Jamie is on its way. Work on the set of season 8 has already finished, and the new episodes are waiting for a premiere date to be set.
However, it won’t happen anytime soon – Outlander season 7, part 2 will be released in November 2024, and Blood of My Blood, a spin-off telling the story of Jamie’s parents, will probably appear in 2025.
We’ve gathered the most essential information about the eigth season.
