Smart ring maker Oura has made its Oura Advisor AI assistant available through its app.
Oura initially tested its AI Advisor out through Oura Labs, which meant it was only available to a select few users. Now, however, it’s been made available to all English language Oura Ring 4 and Oura Ring 3 users through the Oura app.
Oura has announced the feature as being “Your AI-Powered Personal Health Companion” over on its website.
What can Oura Advisor do?
Oura Advisor’s main function is to take all of the health metrics recorded by Oura Ring wearable products – Sleep, Activity, Readiness and Resilience – and contextualise them with added personal guidance.
This might take the form of handy visualisations for that data, such as graphs and charts. It can also help you to create plans to hit your goals.
In all of this, you can get to the relevant answers through natural conversational prompts. You might ask Oura Advisor why your Readiness Score is dipping, for example, or for advice on optimising your sleep.
You can also ask Oura Advisor more general questions about topics such as women’s health, heart health, and other Oura features.
It’s possible to set Oura Advisor to be more conversational with its responses, or to go for a more direct, goal-oriented tone. It’s also possible to set the frequency of its check-ins.

How to access Oura Advisor
Oura is rolling its new AI Advisor out over the next two weeks to English language-speaking Oura Ring 3 and 4 users. Other languages will be supported later in 2025.
Oura Advisor can be accessed through several points in the Oura app’s UI, including the + function and through Readiness insight prompts.
If you find yourself stumped over the kinds of questions you can or should be asking, Oura Advisor will provide you with a selection of pre-written prompts to get you started.
The Oura Ring 4 was already our favourite smart ring on the market. With these new AI insights, it might just be starting to pull away from the competition.
