Leaked benchmark tests seem to confirm that OnePlus is working on a new premium tablet with class-leading performance.
Last month we reported on claims that OnePlus was working on a new high-end tablet that could be one of the first to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
Now we may have spotted the first benchmark of this new tablet, courtesy of Xpertpick, and it’s shaping up to be every bit as fast as we suspected.
OnePlus Pro tablet benchmarked
A OnePlus tablet running under the model number OPD2413 has popped up on the Geekbench benchmark database, running a Snapdragon 8 Elite and 16GB of RAM.
Unsurprisingly, the score is rather beastly, with a single-core mark of 3091 and a multi-core score of 9638.
By way of a comparison, the current Android tablet performance champ is probably the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which scored 7010 in our own multi-core test. Or there’s the Nubia Redmagic Nova, which scored 7086.

Next-gen OnePlus tablet clues
Whether this tablet will be called the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro or the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro seems unclear at this point. OnePlus’s naming scheme, along with its tablet release schedule, is all over the place, with the OnePlus Pad 3 following closely on the heels of the OnePlus Pad 2.
We do have a potential pointer as to what this new Pro tablet will look and handle like, though. Parent company Oppo recently unveiled the Oppo Pad 4 Pro in China, and it wouldn’t be unusual for this to be essentially rebadged under the OnePlus name.
The Oppo Pad 4 Pro runs on a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, together with a 13.2-inch LCD with a 2400 x 3392 resolution and a 144Hz maximum refresh rate. There’s every chance the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro / OnePlus Pad 2 Pro spec list with be much the same.
