Smartwatches are poised for a big year in 2025 and it appears that OnePlus is getting more serious about wearables and the new OnePlus Watch 3 might be joined by a Pro edition.
A new review by Android Authority of the code in Oneplus’ OHealth app shows that the company appears to be working on a more premium smartwatch.
The OnePlus Watch 3 Pro, a more elaborate version of the company’s upcoming smartwatch is expected to be released sometime in 2025.
So far, there are no details about the specifications of the OnePlus Watch 3 Pro but the smartwatch is expected to offer more advanced features and improved performance compared to the OnePlus Watch 2.
The launch date and price are also unknown and OnePlus hasn’t commented on the data.
It seems unlikely that the OnePlus Watch 3 series will arrive with the OnePlus 13 smartphones in January as the previous generation was announced in February so MWC 2025, which takes place 3-6 March, is a likely candidate.
Previous information has indicated that the base model of the OnePlus Watch 3 will use the same Snapdragon W5 circuit as the latest model and have 2GB of memory, 32GB of storage and a larger 648mAh battery.
The OnePlus Watch 3 Pro will have to take on the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Ultra and Apple Watch Series 10.
