Absolute Batman stormed onto the scene late last year and has instantly become one of DC’s biggest success stories in recent memory—so it’s not really surprising that his stunning, brick wall of a design is leaping off of the pages and into the realm of merchandise already. But while it’s one thing to have a comics-stylized take on an absolute mountain of a man, it’s another to see that rendered in an attempt at it being in the flesh, so to speak.
Hot Toys is taking that challenge on, though, with its latest figure reveal. Clocking in at just shy of a whopping 16 inches (all the way up to the tips of his cowl ears), the Hot Toys Absolute Batman is, indeed, a big boy—with a unique body made from soft vinyl materials to bring Bruce’s hulking body to life.
Aside from all that plastic man, the release comes with a ton of accessories too, including a fully articulated cape that can be spread out into the spiked “bat wings” mode from Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta’s series, a bat emblem that can be removed from his chest to be the head of Absolute Batman’s bat-axe (which itself has two different-length handles), detachable cowl ears that can be used as weapons, a modified shotgun, and two different lengths of shoulder spikers.
On top of that, there’s a stand, the usual alternate hands, and three interchangeable faceplates to slot in on the lower half of Bruce’s head: one stern glower, one with bare gritted teeth, and another set wide in a mid-yell rage. A limited edition of the figure will come with all that plus a special, wire-embedded cloth cape and shawl for a “stealthy” look. As much as a 6′ 9″, 421-pound slab of pure Wayne can be stealthy, that is.
A big boy comes with a big price, however: the Hot Toys Absolute Batman is up for preorder now ahead of an expected late 2026 or early 2027 release. It will cost $385 for the standard edition and $400 for the limited edition.
