Nothing has launched a new special edition of the Phone (2a) Plus which glows in the dark, but you will be lucky if you’re able to get your hands on it.
The Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition is a co-created phone made in collaboration with some of its, you guessed it, community members. However, this special edition handset is limited to just 1,000 units.
It costs a mid-range £399 like the regular Plus but you’ll have to be quick to snag one when it goes on sale on 12 November. It will be available via the official store as well as ‘retail partners’ followed by the firm’s Nothing Store in Soho, London, on 16 November.

Presumably, some of the limited stock will be kept back for the bricks-and-mortar shop for those able to travel there.
You can register your interest online, but you’ll need to be quick to be in with a chance of snagging the Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition.
Nothing notes that it’s “First come, first served,” but “community members who participated in the project will be given priority.”
The Community Edition Project saw over 900 entries and invited the community to have a say on all aspects of the phone including hardware, wallpapers, packaging and marketing.

The glow in the dark rear cover features green-tinted phosphorescent material which not only looks cool but will help you find it in the dark.
“This special edition reflects Nothing’s commitment to breaking down barriers between company and community, with each element shaped by our users’ imagination,” said Nothing.
The Nothing Store Soho will also be hosting an exhibition showcasing the winning designs, components and process from 11am on 2 November to 6pm on 28 November.
