Here’s the trailer for Chris McQuarrie’s Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, finally out after its CinemaCon presentation last week as part of Paramount Pictures showcase. Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt is so close on his currently very impossible mission and it’s always knuckle bracing to see that man run to save the world.
And boy can he run. There’s a lot to pick up on from where we left off in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Cruise is going to really come up against even more seemingly insurmountable odds. Then there’s the epic stunts lined up for fans of the franchise which pushes the man to almost living superhero status. We’re eagerly anticipating Cruise’s acrobatic encounter with a 1930s Boeing Stearman biplane.
The film also stars Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg as Hunt’s team. Hayley Atwell returns as the elusive thief Grace as the film’s race to defeat an AI enemy, so timely, comes to a likely to be very explosive end. Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning opens May 23.
