Lilo and Stitch is one of the most beloved Disney 2D animations, so unsurprsingly, it’s the next film to get the live-action remake treatment.
The first trailer for the family-friendly flick revealed the alien Stitch up to his usual chaotic tricks, a charming bond between the creature and Lilo, and a rather surprising change to one of the supporting characters.

When could tickets for Lilo and Stitch go on sale?
Disney hasn’t yet announced when tickets for Lilo and Stitch will go on sale, but we can look at previous animations from the studio to estimate when they may drop.
For one of last year’s best-performing films, Moana 2, tickets went on sale just under a month before. Meanwhile, Mufasa tickets hit store shelves just over a month before releasing in theatres.
That’s a pretty solid pattern, so we estimate that tickets will go on sale around 23 April 2025 – or at least a few days before or after this date.
We’ve estimated this date because Lilo and Stitch hits cinemas on 23 May 2025.
