Every other laptop maker has already had its chance to show off its new MacBook Pro competitors complete with a new Nvidia chip, but Lenovo may have saved the best for last. The company’s Yoga 9n 2-in-1, which it’s giving hands-on time with at IFA 2026, is a creator-first kind of laptop. However, there’s a special surprise inside for those who dream of their own Apple Pencil Pro for Windows, one that’s usable on a 2-in-1 convertible laptop no matter how it’s oriented.
There are two versions of Lenovo’s RTX Spark Yoga laptop coming this fall, the Yoga 9n 2-in-1 and the previously announced Yoga Pro 9n. The latter is a 15-inch device, and it’s billed as the more high-end version. That N1X chip inside includes Nvidia and MediaTek’s co-designed 20-core Grace CPU and the coveted Blackwell GPU, promising 6,144 CUDA cores. That’s equivalent to a desktop GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card (despite that, you shouldn’t expect RTX 5070 performance from this single chip).
This behemoth of a high-end creative/professional laptop is also packing up to 128GB of 9,400 MT/s unified memory. This is different from discrete RAM since it’s a single memory pool shared between the CPU and GPU. All that is to say, these devices are designed for high-end work such as on-device AI work or high-end rendering tasks and—dare I say it—gaming on the go.
Let’s not confuse the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n with the Lenovo Pro 9i. However, the real juice lies in the company’s new Yoga 9n 2-in-1. It only packs up to 64GB of unified memory, but it’s a much more versatile device with its convertible design.
The 2-in-1 laptop includes a 16-inch, 2.8K OLED display and a haptic “ForcePad” trackpad. That’s where the pen comes in. The new Yoga Pen can work on either the trackpad or the screen—either as a kind of drawing pad or a kind of Windows-based tablet. If you’re wondering, the pen indeed looks and feels very, very similar to the Apple Pencil Pro, though it eschews haptic controls in place for programmable buttons. It has pressure and tilt sensitivity and hover recognition above both the screen and trackpad.
The one problem is where you’ll put the pen when not in use. The pen case is magnetic and can adhere to the laptop lid. That may not help you if you shove the Yoga 9n 2-in-1 deep in your bag. The convertible Yoga is also a heavy sucker, at just under 4.3 pounds. We’re still waiting for the opportunity to test the upcoming RTX Spark PCs when they hit the scene later this year. We won’t know pricing until that time, too. With the supported memory specs, we do not expect these laptops to be anywhere close to cheap.
