Regina Hall is excited for Scary Movie 6. Sana Amanat teases what Jessica Jones brings to Daredevil: Born Again season 2. Plus, get a look at the mysterious Marionette in a new featurette for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. To me, my spoilers!

Alita: Battle Angel 2

Speaking with Empire, James Cameron stated he has “sworn a blood oath” with Robert Rodriguez “to do at least one more” Alita: Battle Angel movie and “is making progress on that.”

I appreciate the loyalty of the Alita fans. Robert Rodriguez and I have sworn a blood oath to do at least one more Alita movie. In fact, we’re thinking of an architecture that bridges to a third film, but we’ll be satisfied if we can make one more. And we’re making progress on that. Now that I have a home in Austin, Texas, about three miles from [Rodriguez’s] place, I think we’ll probably get more serious about that as soon as I wrap the mix here in a few weeks.

Scary Movie 6

In another recent interview with Variety, Regina Hall revealed she’s read the script for Scary Movie 6 and “it was really funny.”

I read the script — and it was really funny. I knew what they were intending to do. I always think a work of art is in flux until it’s done and in someone’s hands — you just never know. The original cast coming back was exciting. Having the Wayans involved again, and Anna Faris too — Brenda can’t live without Cindy. And she’s no better a friend to Cindy this time than she was before, even though they’re still best friends. I think the nostalgia and timing just made it feel right. It was a good time to do something so broad and fun. I read the script and thought, ‘This is funny.’ And I think something is refreshing about doing something a little bit irreverent right now.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2

The cast and crew of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 discuss The Marionette in a new featurette.

Night Patrol

Justin Long becomes a vampire cop in the trailer for Night Patrol, co-starring Dermot Mulroney, RJ Cyler, Freddie Gibbs, YG, Flying Lotus, Jon Oswald, Nicki Micheaux, and CM Punk.

Daredevil: Born Again

During a recent interview with Empire, Daredevil: Born Again executive producer Sana Amanat revealed Jessica Jones’ returns to the MCU for “very personal” reasons.

[Jones] isn’t necessarily a team-up kind of person. So the reason she’s back is because it feels like it’s very personal. She brings edginess and lightness—Daredevil can be very dark and dramatic, and she cuts through the BS in a really fun way.

The War Between the Land and the Sea

Finally, Russell T. Davies told Empire he wanted to show the BBC what the Doctor Who universe is “capable of” with The War Between the Land and the Sea.

I wanted to show the BBC what this universe is capable of, and the potential that it has, and the punch that it can deliver. It’s very 2025 in its bones. We even deal with the water companies and their profiteering bosses laughing in our faces.
