Thousands of people turned out for the 10th World Dog Surfing Championships over the weekend, an annual event in Pacifica, California, south of San Francisco. And the photos from the event are adorable.
The dogs are judged based on how long they stay on the board, the size of the wave, the confidence exuded by the dogs, and any tricks they may attempt beyond just staying on the board.
