Evan Rachel Wood reveals she was ghosted by her Practical Magic coven. Ethan Hawke suggests there’ll be a third Black Phone movie with Scott Derrickson. Abraham Lincoln gets a new pair of hands in President Curtis. Don’t dream it, be it. It’s Morning Spoilers!

The Black Phone 3/Untitled Scott Derrickson Project

During a recent interview with Polygon, Ethan Hawke revealed he’s again working “on something” with The Black Phone director Scott Derrickson.

I don’t have agendas like that about what kind of movie, really. I like people. Yeah, Scott and I are working on something right now. I think he’s so gifted. I like working with him.

Practical Magic 2

In a recent Instagram story captured by Entertainment Weekly, Practical Magic star Evan Rachel Wood revealed “no one who worked on the original” reached out to her about appearing in the upcoming sequel.

I really appreciated Joey King reaching out to me because no one who worked on the original film did. She’s a sweetheart.

The Batman, Part II

Elsewhere, Robert Pattinson told GQ the fight scenes in The Batman, Part II feel “significantly harder” on him than those of the first.

It’s good. I’m definitely feeling my age when fighting a lot. I’m literally like, ‘Goddamn, this is significantly harder than it used to be.’ But it’s really fun. And I think the movie’s going to be pretty great. It’s got a really, really fun cast, but it’s a marathon.

Resident Evil

In response to a fan on a recent Reddit AMA, spotted by Dread Central, asking how the new Resident Evil movie approaches the games’ infamous resource management mechanics, director Zach Cregger replied “you will know how many bullets” are in Austin Abrams’ gun at all times, and “will care” each time his character “misses a shot.”

I love the resource management aspect of the games and it was really important to me to bring that to the movie. You will know how many bullets are in his gun. YOU will care when he misses a shot.

Wuthering Heights: House of the Damned

Heathcliff searches for a suitable new body to house Catherine’s ghost in the trailer for Wuthering Heights: House of the Damned starring Ross Townsend-Green, Sky Cheema, Elle O’Hara, and Nicola Wright.

Bite Size Terror

According to Variety, Tubi will premiere Bite Size Terror, a new 10-episode horror anthology series, sometime this fall. The episodes are said to cover “every corner” of the horror genre, “from the supernatural and occult to body horror, dark comedy, monsters and the macabre.” Across the season, themes like “grief, ambition, intimacy and vulnerability become entry points for something darker, as characters searching for connection, control, or a way forward find themselves confronting forces they do not understand.”

President Curtis

Finally, Abraham Lincoln’s ghost is gifted a pair of gloves granting his hands mass in a clip from this Sunday’s new episode of President Curtis.
