With Hazbin Hotel becoming a major player in hell in rehabilitating ne’er-do-wells, a new force is rising to influence Charlie (Erika Henningsen) and her initiates to join in on a more sinister plot against heaven.

The latest trailer for the sophomore season of Vivienne Madrano’s animated musical, Hazbin Hotel, teases the threat within as the overlord trio known as ‘The Vees’ hatch a plan to overtake heaven using Charlie’s hard work. See, things at the hotel are going better since they defeated the Angel army last season, with more souls seeking redemption, enough for the Vees leader Vox (Christian Borle) to try to swoop in. His opportunist machinations push him to gain numbers from Charlie so he can rise up against those on top. At the same time, the angels in heaven are still grappling with the aftermath of Sir Pentious’ (Alex Brightman) redemption and their sinful actions punishing the denizens of hell. As Charlie’s feeling the weight of her choices on her shoulders, her friends rally with her against those who might try to exploit the good she’s doing for their own gain.

It seems the fight for heaven and hell intensifies as the old and new guard gear up to shake things up with more showstopping musical numbers and action. Stars Erika Henningsen (Charlie) and Stephanie Beatriz (Vaggie) are joined by a full ensemble ready to break out of hell and into song. Returning and new cast members include Keith David, Kimiko Glenn, Blake Roman, Amir Talai, Alex Brightman, Christian Borle, Jeremy Jordan, Jessica Vosk, Joel Perez, Lilli Cooper, Krystina Alabado, Patrick Stump, Darren Criss, Shoba Narayan, Patina Miller, Liz Callaway, Leslie Rose Kritzer, James Monroe Iglehart, Andrew Durand, Kevin Del Aguila, Daphne Rubin-Vega, and Alex Newell.

Hazbin Hotel Season 2 returns October 29, 2025, on Prime Video.
