The Google TV app has been updated to allow users to share both films and TV shows using a link, reports 9 to 5 Google. The feature is available in both the Android and iOS versions of the app.
Note that this won’t allow you to share access to a film or TV show. It just lets you share a link to the content directly on Google TV with another Google TV user. If you want to share content on Google TV instead, you need to set up a family account.
The shareable link can only be opened if the user receiving it also has the Google TV app installed. Otherwise, desktop users will be redirected to the Google TV website, while mobile users will end up in the Android or iOS app store.
