Countless Garmin smartwatch users have reported that their smartwatches no longer work due to a problem dubbed the ‘blue triangle of death’.
The smartwatches are supposedly stuck in a boot cycle that never ends, and instead, they repeatedly display the blue triangle logo, writes The Verge.
The problem seems to have occurred for several of Garmin’s model series such as Epix, Venu, Forerunner, Descent and Fenix. The issue is affecting users in several countries around the world.
It all seems to be due to a bug linked to the GPS activity of the smartwatches. Some Garmin users report that other activities do not seem to activate the bug.
Garmin says it is are aware of the problem and is investigating it. The company says that a reboot can temporarily restore functionality.
