The third season of Percy Jackson is coming this year. Amazon’s God of War finds itself a Norse legend. Plus, James Gunn taps Peacemaker‘s DP for Man of Tomorrow. Spoilers now!

Every House Is Haunted

Deadline reports that Adam Schindler and Brian Netto are also attached to direct Every House Is Haunted for producer Sam Raimi. Based on Ian Rogers’ short story collection of the same title, the film concerns an insurance investigator who “tries to debunk claims that a couple’s death was caused by a haunted house, but his doubts are challenged by a psychic and the mysterious occurrences he witnesses with his own eyes.”

Evil Dead

Deadline also has word that Charlotte Hope, Jessica McNamee, Zach Gilford, Josh Helman, Ella Newton, Elizabeth Cullen, and Ella Oliphant have joined the cast of Francis Galluppi’s as-yet-untitled Evil Dead movie (separate from the upcoming Evil Dead Burn) in undisclosed roles.

Werwulf

Deadline can also confirm Hamnet‘s Bodhi Rae Breathnach has joined the cast of Robert Egger’s Werwulf.

Man of Tomorrow

The Astrology House

Deadline reports Christina Ricci will star in The Astrology House, a new series at Peacock based on the novel by Carinn Jade. Written for television by Lindsay Calhoon Bring, the series will follow “the cosmically intertwined lives” of Margot (Ricci) and as-yet-uncast Rini. Per the synopsis, “When Rini invites Margot and her family-and-friend group to vacation at her astrology retreat, long-held resentments, secrets and lies boil over, culminating in death.”

God of War

Prime Video has tapped Max Parker to play Heimdall, the watchman of Asgard, in its upcoming adaptation of the video game series.
