I’ve already argued my case for a Pixel smart ring but my other big request for Google wearables in 2025 is a Pixel Watch Series-A, not the Pixel Watch 4.
Google has proven it can make an excellent smartwatch, the Pixel Watch has been my personal favourite of the market every year but it’s time to expand the family to include a more budget-friendly model.
Not everyone can afford a flagship smartwatch and although buying a previous generation model can make for a good value option, it’s still not enough for many customers. The Pixel Watch 2 is £239 at the time of writing.
I’m talking under £200/$200 in order to compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE and other similarly priced budget smartwatches. Even Apple has a wallet-friendly option in the Apple Watch SE 2.

Imagine a cheaper Pixel Watch 3 with a similarly attractive design and features. Sure, Google will need to make some compromises with materials and specs but it’s more than doable.
Google has made plenty of excellent A-series devices over the years, with some of the best mid-range phones you can buy including the Pixel 8a and the Pixel Buds have also seen the A treatment, too.
So why not the Pixel Watch? It’s a recipe for success if you ask me. I also think Motorola should get back into the smartwatch game (in the UK).
