It’s been a long time since we’ve had a Final Destination movie, and next month’s Bloodlines looks at bringing back the franchise with a bang. You come to these movies for the kills, and some posters recently released by New Line tease how bloody things are about to go down. Life isn’t just a death trap like the tagline says, it’s also right in your backyard. Careful where you step, eat, and jump!

Like the previous movies, Final Destination Bloodlines centers on a group of people who cheated death and now find themselves dying in elaborate ways as the universe balances the scales. Gifted with the foresight to see how everyone at their house party is about to die, Stefani (Kaitlyn Juana Santana) narrowly prevents them from meeting a bad end. But there’s an extra twist to things: her grandmother Iris (Gabrielle Rose/Brec Bassinger) also narrowly evaded death decades earlier, meaning fate’s coming after the Lewis and Campbell families with extreme prejudice. New Line also released screenshots of the various Lewis and Campbell family members before they become death’s punching bags.

Thanks to the trailer and Cinemacon, we already know two deaths in Bloodlines will involve a lawnmower and a vending machine (partially), but those might be the least painful ways to go when all’s dead and done. Sadly, this film also marks the last appearance of the late Tony Todd, who’s played the all-knowing mortician William Bludworth since the original Final Destination. It’ll reportedly delve into his backstory, though it’s unclear what that all entails.

Final Destination Bloodlines kills it in theaters on May 16.
