Xiaomi had a big month in October 2024, unveiling a range of new products, including the Xiaomi 15 phones, the Xiaomi Pad 7 series, and several smart wearables. Alongside the hardware, it also introduced HyperOS 2, its latest operating system update.
However, until now, these devices were only available in China. After several months of waiting, today’s MWC 2025 event brought them to a global stage. Here’s a quick look at the key products Xiaomi launched.
Xiaomi 15
The Xiaomi 15 continues Xiaomi’s signature design with a 6.36-inch LTPO display, an ultra-thin 1.38mm bezel, and an industry-leading 3.2K resolution. The display reaches a peak brightness of 3200 nits and supports a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 15 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, offering a 42% boost in CPU performance and a 44% increase in GPU performance over its predecessor (according to Xiaomi).
This is paired with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and storage options up to 1TB.

For photography, the Xiaomi 15 features a triple Leica camera setup, including a 50MP f/1.62 main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a floating telephoto lens capable of close-up macro shots and long-range zoom.
Despite its compact size, it houses a 5400mAh battery, supports 90W wired charging, and includes 50W wireless charging. It also runs the brand new HyperOS 2.
It’s available in Black, White, Green, and Purple, with a premium Liquid Silver Edition also available. Xiaomi 15 prices start at £899.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is a real treat for keen photographers. The phone not only makes a nod to Leica’s legendary cameras with its design, but also has lenses worthy of them.
Its setup features a promising 200Mp periscope telephoto lens, with zoom capabilities up to 400mm, alongside a 50Mp main camera, a 50Mp ultrawide lens, and a 50Mp floating telephoto. There’s also a 32Mp camera for selfies on the front.
For those who want to go one step further, Xiaomi has also prepared the Xiaomi 15 Ultra Photography Kit Legend Edition.

The phone is again powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB or 1TB of storage. On the front it boasts a 6.73-inch WQHD+ 3200×1440 AMOLED screen, with 1-120Hz refresh rate, support for HDR10+ and max brightness of 3200 nits.
It also packs a 5,410mAh battery, with support for 90W wired and 80W wireless charging. 15 Ultra pricing starts at £1,299.

Xiaomi Pad 7
The Xiaomi Pad 7 features an 11.2-inch LCD display a with peak brightness of 800 nits, a 3.2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. With a 3:2 book view aspect ratio, it promises a good balance between media consumption and work.
Under the hood, it runs on the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage.

The 8850mAh battery supports 45W turbo charging, making sure it lasts through the day with quick top-ups. There’s also a quad-speaker setup tuned with Dolby Atmos for better audio experience.
It supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and HyperOS 2. Additionally, stylus and keyboard support make it a great pick for students and professionals.
The Pad 7 starts at £369.
Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro
The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro brings a significant performance boost, featuring the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. Like the standard Pad 7, it features an 11.2-inch LCD display, but with a higher peak brightness of 900 nits and HDR10+ support. There’s also a more expensive model with matt glass.
It comes with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The 8850mAh battery supports 67W fast charging, ensuring quick recharges.

Xiaomi
For connectivity, it includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for faster wireless speeds and better accessory pairing. It also integrates HyperOS 2, allowing seamless syncing with Xiaomi phones and laptops.
There’s a quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos. Its dual rear cameras (50Mp + 2Mp depth sensor), and a 16Mp front camera make it a great tablet for both entertainment and work.
The Pad 7 Pro price starts at £449 with the matt glass edition fetching £549.
Xiaomi Watch S4
The Xiaomi Watch S4 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, a rotating crown, and a versatile bezel for navigation. With over 150 sports modes, the Watch S4 promises in-depth fitness tracking, including AI-powered running training courses.

There are also dual-mode walkie-talkie functionality and eSIM support that allow users to stay connected without a phone. Other smart features include NFC car key functionality, voice assistant support, and smart home controls.

Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro & 5 Pro (Wi-Fi)
Xiaomi also introduced the Buds 5 Pro wireless earbuds, featuring Harman-branded AudioEFX tuning for superior sound quality.
The earbuds adopt a half-in-ear design with silicone ear tips, promising a secure yet comfortable fit. They feature up to 55dB active noise cancellation (ANC) and quick touch controls on stems for recording, Al transcription and translation.
The charging case has an oval design and supports USB Type-C charging. The Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro are available in Ceramic White and Titan Gray.
There’s also a Wi-Fi model of the 5 Pro which, thanks to Qualcomm XPAN technology, offer 4.2Mbps lossless audio via Wi-Fi. These will make for an interesting option for audiophiles.
The Buds 5 Pro cost £159.99 and the Wi-Fi model is £189.99.
Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro
The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro has already been around for a while, so today’s news is a new Cream White colourway.
The smartwatch boasts a 1.74-inch AMOLED display, making it one of the largest-screen fitness trackers Xiaomi has ever made. The aluminium alloy body gives it a premium look, and IT promises to be lightweight for everyday wear.

Health tracking features include heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, sleep analysis, and stress monitoring. It also offers 150+ sports modes, with enhanced tracking for swimming and running.
Battery life is impressive, with Xiaomi claiming it lasts up to 21 days on a single charge.
