This Friday, Bong Joon-ho’s first film since Parasite hits cinemas globally – and it’s a heck of a lot different than the Korean thriller.
Mickey 17 stars Robert Pattinson in the titular role, an ‘expendable’ who is used as a human guinea pig to test out a new planet for humans to inhabit. He can be killed, repeatedly, and then brought back to life with all his memories using an elaborate printer.
The film isn’t out yet, but if you’re wondering whether you need to stick around at the end when you do go to see it for any more material, here’s what you need to know.

Does Mickey 17 have a post-credits scene?
Having been to an early screening, we can confirm Mickey 17 doesn’t have a post-credits scene.
Therefore, there’s no need to stick around for longer in the cinemas if you don’t have time – though it’s always valuable to appreciate all the cast and crew involved in such a sci-fi epic.
The ending wraps everything up quite nicely, and while the director admitted to Games Radar that he’d certainly be open to tackling the book’s sequel, he’s focused on other ideas now.
Mickey 17 is out in cinemas this Friday, 7 March 2025. If you’re in the UK, you can get tickets from Cineworld, Vue and Odeon. Those in America can get them from AMC Theatres, Fandango and Atom Tickets.
