Spider-Man: Brand New Day
A new report from insiders Daniel Richtman and Cryptic HD Quality (via Yahoo! Entertainment) alledges that classic Spidey villain Boomerang is indeed in the movie and wears a “comic accurate” costume that is “so cool.”
Return of the Living Dead 6
According to Bloody-Disgusting, a sixth film in the Return of the Living Dead franchise is in development and scheduled for a November release later this year. Directed by Steven Wolsh and starring Devon Sawa, Casimere “Cash” Jollette, Kynlee Heiman, and Alexander Ward as the Tarman, the story is said to take place “in a small Pennsylvania town over the Christmas of 1985, 18 months after the events of the original film.”
Artichoke
Deadline has word Alyson Gorske and Thomas Dekker will star in Artichoke, a giallo-inspired sci-fi short from Anna Lou Castoldi, the granddaughter of Dario Argento and daughter of Asia Argento. The story concerns Cynara (Gorske), a woman “held captive in a violent relationship” who “discovers a phoropter that opens a portal to another world. In a terrifying cat and mouse chase between worlds, Cynara finally comes face to face with The Man (Dekker) and must decide what she’s willing to destroy, in order to survive.”
Passenger
THR reports André Øvredal’s new horror film, Passenger, is now scheduled for a May 29, 2026 release date. Details on the plot are still currently under wraps.
