Sure, you can fire up Netflix and watch Cobra Kai anytime you want. It’s always there and available. But what about the Johnny Lawrences out there? Those of us still stuck in the era of the original Karate Kid movies, when physical media ruled? Well, Sony and Netflix have some news, and it’s the best around.

On March 3, Cobra Kai: The Complete Series is coming to Blu-ray. All 65 episodes of the show in one brand-new box set, in high definition with 5.1 surround sound. Here’s a full look.

The full Cobra Kai box set. – Sony

In terms of special features, each season has deleted scenes and a blooper reel, though many of those have been previously available. The new content is commentaries on the series’ first and last episodes with creators Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg. It will be awesome to contrast those as the team looks back at almost a 10-year gap between the 2018 pilot and 2025 finale.

And, if you’ve already been picking up the series on Blu-ray over the past few years, Sony is also releasing the sixth and final season individually on March 3, just to complete that collection.

I’ve talked at length about how incredible and impossible Cobra Kai is and was, but allow me to recap. These days, we’ve become so used to seeing sequels to classic properties with the original actors passing the torch to new ones. Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Ghostbusters, Scream—the list goes on and on and on. And while some of those have worked, Cobra Kai is by far the most successful at doing so. To start, it flipped the entire premise of the original films on its head and then proceeded to give satisfying, human arcs to the classic characters while also introducing dynamic new stars. And, over the course of six seasons, it perfectly tiptoed on that line of new and nostalgia. Few shows or movies came close to that balance. Which, for The Karate Kid, was kind of perfect. As Mr. Miyagi taught us, in life, balance is everything.

Oh, and then Sony went and made a horrible follow-up movie that all but ignored everything in this series, but thankfully, that’s not in this box set.

No word yet on what this set will retail for, but, honestly, it’s priceless. It’ll be out on March 3.
