Oh, and he’s on a mysterious mission, so you can add “curiosity” to that list of character traits. What could possibly go wrong? Add in some absolutely dazzling visuals, and you can get a good idea of what’s to come in Tron: Ares.
The latest trailer is here, and it gives us our best look yet at Jared Leto’s supersoldier, unveiled by a smug-looking Evan Peters and questioned by a very skeptical Gillian Anderson. Also, a glowy Jeff Bridges! Check it out:
Here’s the official scoop: “Tron: Ares follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings. The feature film is directed by Joachim Rønning and stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, with Gillian Anderson, and Jeff Bridges. Sean Bailey, Jeffrey Silver, Justin Springer, Jared Leto, Emma Ludbrook, and Steven Lisberger are the producers, with Russell Allen serving as executive producer.”
