Silo season one ended with a cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers. It desperately made you want to see what was next for Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) as she discovered everything she thought she knew wasn’t true at all. The wait will soon be over, though, with season two arriving November 15—and Apple TV+ has now dropped its official trailer. Check it out.
Based on Hugh Howey’s trio of dystopian novels and created by Graham Yost, who’s also the showrunner, Silo stars Ferguson as well as Tim Robbins, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie, and Iain Glen. Steve Zahn is joining the cast this season.
Here’s what Apple TV+ has to say about Silo, in a description that reveals precious little about season two: “Silo is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and those who try to find out face fatal consequences. Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.”
Will the truth come out in season two? Start to find out when the first of 10 episodes arrives November 15 on Apple TV+, with a weekly rollout thereafter.
