AI music startup Suno announced several major changes Thursday aimed at cracking down on the misuse of songs generated on its platform.

Co-founder and CEO Mikey Shulman wrote in a blog post that the company plans to introduce audio watermarking and fingerprinting technology that will make it easier for music platforms to identify and trace songs created with Suno.

Suno will also introduce a new download policy intended to limit users’ ability to mass-distribute songs on streaming platforms.
